Design/Build Legacy Unity for Behavioral Health

Design/Build Legacy Unity for Behavioral Health

In 2016, Integrated Systems Group completed a project that showcased all of their strengths by assisting in the design and build of the Unity Center for Behavioral Health for Legacy Health.

ISG worked directly with Legacy Construction Services and the Hoffman Construction team to coordinate all low voltage scopes. This project was an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) with a very aggressive construction schedule.

At the time of contract release, the project was moving very quickly from design to construction and all trades were coordinating daily to increase production and minimize delays. The building was a renovation of the old state mental hospital-Legacy Lab, and presented a multitude of construction challenges, which were successfully met by ISG.

ISG’s scopes required extensive coordination with the electrical prime for rough-in detail and scheduling, as well as coordination with other trades for access panel layout and placement in restricted patient areas. ISG was the prime contractor for all of the following scopes of work:

  • Voice/Data
  • Patient Communication System (nurse call)
  • Real Time Locating System
  • Overhead Paging
  • Access Control
  • Video Security

CUSTOMER ACCOLADE:
“I just wanted to share with you that yesterday during a IS Lessons Learned session held for Unity, your Legacy peers had wonderful things to say about ISG, at one point describing you as heroes.
I just want to thank you for your dedication, support, and agility on this project. I know it was not an easy one.”
